Last week Surrey FA staff and Youth Forum members joined our official partner, Thorpe Park Resort, to celebrate school’s week at the Surrey-based attraction.

Schools’ week is one of the park's busiest periods, as they welcome school groups from across the South to celebrate the last week of the summer term. The day proved a perfect opportunity to engage visiting school children with football related activity, whilst advertising the Surrey Schools Competitions.

Alongside our pop-up stall, we welcomed The Surrey Event Hire Company to the park, to challenge children and adults alike to put their football skills to the test with the chance to win special prizes. The inflatable dartboard dared participants to try and obtain the highest score, with the chance to win either an annual pass, day pass or Fastrack.

Throughout the day we saw hundreds of schoolchildren of all ages taking part, and approximately £2000 worth of gifts were handed out by Thorpe Park to our lucky winners.
