Extra Safeguarding Courses Announced

Surrey FA has today announced additional Safeguarding Children Workshops. The additional workshops have been arranged to help clubs with meeting...

All of the courses will run from 18:45 – 21:45 and will cost £25 per person, or £20 for Charter Standard Clubs.

The Safeguarding Children Workshops teaches the football workforce to protect young people by promoting best practice. Those on the course will learn how to recognise signs and symptoms of abuse, and understand fears involved in these concerns.

Course Aims & Objectives

The workshop will raise your awareness and specifically help you to be able to:
• Identify and build on best practice in football
• Recognise signs of abuse and identify what behaviour causes concern
• Identify the actions to take if you have a concern and who can help
• Develop your action plan for change

The workshops are planned for the following dates and locations:

4th April  6.45pm-9.45pm – Surrey FA, Unit 2E, St Martin’s House, Dorking, RH4 1UW.
