Football Fix Up: Transform Your Club This Summer!
Football Fix Up is an opportunity for clubs to refresh and revitalise their spaces with the help of volunteers, members, and the local community. Whether it's painting changing rooms, cleaning up grounds, repairing equipment, or any other improvements your club needs, the weekend of 31st May/1st June is about coming together to make a lasting impact to the communal spaces in your club.
More Than Just a Workday
While the focus is on improving club facilities, Football Fix Up is also a social event. Clubs are encouraged to organise activities like a barbecue, social gathering, or community get-together to celebrate the hard work of volunteers. Plus, with the Champions League Final kicking off at 8pm on Saturday 31st, why not keep the team spirit going and watch the match together after a hard day of work?

Make the Most of Your Resources
We encourage clubs to get creative and make use of existing resources and community connections. Whether it's reaching out to local businesses, calling in favours from people linked to the club, or utilising the skills of volunteers, this initiative is about working together to make a real difference.
How We’ll Support You
To help make your Football Fix Up event a success, Surrey FA will provide resources and support, including:
- Planning support & ideas – including advertising, fundraising, and partnership guidance.
- Templates – such as a Project Plan for the event and Skills Audit to help identify the talents within your club.
- Posters & Social Media Templates – to help promote your event to the wider community and attract volunteers.
- Small funding grants – to support event costs, rather than expensive materials.
- End to End Project Support – with Surrey FA support through the whole process and a staff member available to assist in person during the event.
