Facilities and Machinery Workshop Announced for March 2025

We've teamed up with the Amateur Football Alliance to host a workshop for clubs and grounds staff.

Surrey FA, in collaboration with the Amateur Football Alliance, is delighted to invite clubs and grounds staff to a Facilities & Machinery Workshop this March. This practical session will provide invaluable insights into pitch maintenance, equipment use, and funding opportunities to enhance playing surfaces.

Taking place at Alexandra Park FC, Racecourse Ground, London N22 7AX, on Tuesday 25th March 2025, from 6pm - 7.30pm, the workshop will be led by industry experts, offering guidance on how to keep pitches in top condition throughout the year.

What to Expect

Attendees will gain first-hand knowledge from Dan Milgate, Regional Pitch Adviser from the Grounds Management Association, who will demonstrate essential maintenance machinery, provide recommendations on their use, and offer practical tips to maximise the resources clubs already have.

Additionally, Amateur FA partner Agrigem will be present to provide agronomic advice, showcase their product range, and highlight exclusive discounts available to affiliated clubs.

Key Topics Covered

  • Best maintenance practices for this time of year and the off-season.
  • Key considerations for sites that transition to other sports during the summer.
  • An overview of available funding to help clubs purchase vital equipment and machinery.

This workshop presents an excellent opportunity for clubs to enhance their pitch maintenance knowledge and explore practical funding solutions.
