The Surrey FA is proud to announce a series of key appointments that will further strengthen its leadership team and ensure continued progress in grassroots football across the county.

New Chair and Vice Chair Appointed

Soye Briggs

Soye Briggs has been appointed as the new Chair of Surrey FA and will continue to act as Surrey FA’s Council Representative. Soye brings with him a wealth of experience in football governance, leadership, and a deep passion for developing grassroots football. His strategic vision and commitment to inclusivity will be integral in shaping the future of Surrey FA and ensuring it continues to support players, coaches, referees, and volunteers at all levels of the game. 

William Douglas

Joining Soye in leading Surrey FA is William Douglas, who has been appointed as Vice Chair. With a strong background in community engagement and a proven track record of championing local football initiatives, William will play a vital role in supporting the Chair and overseeing the organisation’s efforts to grow the game across the county.

Welcoming a New Patron and President

Ray Lewis

The Surrey FA is also delighted to announce Ray Lewis as its Patron. Ray, a highly respected figure in football and officiating, brings unparalleled expertise and a lifelong commitment to the sport. His support and guidance as Patron will help Surrey FA in its mission to make football accessible, enjoyable, and safe for all.

Nick Drew

In addition, Nick Drew has been appointed as President. Nick has been a dedicated supporter of grassroots football in Surrey for many years and has contributed significantly to the success of various local football initiatives. As President, he will continue to advocate for grassroots football and strengthen Surrey FA’s connection with its community clubs and stakeholders.
