HerHealth Winter Workshops Confirmed
Throughout 2024, Surrey FA have been changing the game, tackling some of the biggest barriers faced by women and girls across football, to try and change perceptions and inspire more women to get involved.
Eleven workshops have been delivered so far, reaching over 100 participants, covering topics including nutrition to increase performance, the importance of pelvic health, and ACL prevention strategies. The highlight of the past year was undoubtedly the inaugural HerHealth Summit, which kick-started the series of educational workshops and addressed previous taboo topics in football.
HerHealth has seen the likes of Kate Kenyon (FA National Development Manager), Kirsty Barton (former professional player), Mark Parsons (ex-Netherlands Head Coach), and Dr Kat Kryger (Medical Researcher at UEFA) involved in the conversation, exploring some of the biggest challenges faced by women and girls but we know there is so much more to do.
We are thrilled to announce the next three workshops in the HerHealth series to take us through to 2025.
