Ready, Set, Glow!

CPD Session - Ready, Set, Glow!

Join us for a neurodiversity CPD event on Wednesday 30 October.

Join Surrey FA for a CPD session focusing on Neurodiversity and ADHD awareness in football at Abbey Rangers FC.

The FA Introduction to Coaching Football course is complemented by this face-to-face practical CPD workshop, designed for coaches and referees who want to build confidence in planning and delivering sessions to create a safe, fun and enjoyable environment or for those wishing to run a team.

The workshop is a continuation of our Ready Set Glow project, which aims to support coaches and referees working across all pathways, who are keen to develop a wider understanding on how they can best serve and provide allyship to players under 18 with neurodiversity (with particular focus in ADHD).

During this workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the term 'Neurodiversity' and the various aspects and conditions associated
  • Awareness of common barriers for neurodiverse players
  • Coaching and refereeing strategies
