15 Surrey Clubs Benefit from Recent Football Foundation Funding
In a significant boost for grassroots football, 15 clubs across Surrey have recently been awarded funding from the Football Foundation.
These grants will help improve facilities, ensuring local players and teams can enjoy better football environments.
Among the recipients are:
- Dorking Cobras: awarded funding for floodlights to enhance evening matches and training sessions.
- Selsdon Juniors: received support for new goalposts, enabling safe and updated equipment for their young players.
- Hambledon Football Club: granted funding for portable floodlights, providing more flexibility for training and match scheduling.
These projects are part of a broader effort to develop local football infrastructure and ensure clubs across the county can continue to thrive. The Football Foundation’s support helps clubs meet the growing demand for better facilities, making football accessible to all.
In total, 15 clubs benefited from the latest round of funding this month.
