Women and Girls Working Group

Join Surrey FA’s new Women & Girls’ Working Group as a Commercial Representative!

Help grow and develop the female game in Surrey.

Surrey FA is excited to announce an opening for a Commercial Representative within our newly formed Women & Girls' Working Group, a dedicated team that aims to make football in Surrey inclusive, safe, sustainable, and fun for women and girls.

This group is pivotal to delivering Surrey FA's vision for an inclusive game, and we’re specifically seeking applicants with ties to the Borough of Merton to champion this mission at the local level.

As the Commercial Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in expanding the women’s and girls’ game in Surrey by developing and leveraging commercial partnerships. We’re looking for an experienced commercial professional, ideally with a sponsorship background and a deep-rooted passion for supporting female sport, especially football. Local connections would be beneficial in fostering relationships with like-minded organisations that can support our mission.

The Women & Girls’ Working Group will address several key areas to grow participation and create meaningful experiences for women and girls in football. Our approach includes:

Understanding Barriers: Listening to women and girls to identify challenges in participation across Surrey, allowing us to design effective solutions.

Build Experience: Accelerate targeted programs, services, and activities that invite and retain women and girls in the game, ensuring football is accessible and engaging.

Developing End-to-End Solutions: Designing a comprehensive approach, specific to the women and girls’ game, that includes partnerships, resources, and programs managed by Surrey FA.

Localised Offerings: Delivering a bespoke solution tailored to meet the needs of the Merton community, reflecting local interests, and enhancing grassroots engagement.

Ambassador Role: Serving as representatives for Surrey FA at various events to promote our work and engage with the community.

Evidence-Based Insights: Offering data-backed recommendations to the Surrey FA Board and other working groups, helping foster an inclusive, supportive culture within our organisation.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is driven, innovative, and committed to the growth of women’s and girls’ football. By joining this Working Group, you’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to leaving a lasting, positive impact on the sport in Surrey.

If you’re ready to make a difference in women’s and girls’ football in Surrey, we invite you to apply for the role of Commercial Representative with Surrey FA’s Women & Girls’ Working Group today!
