The application process is straightforward, with 5v5/7v7 goals, 9v9 and 11v11 goals awarded to successful applicants.
The below clubs have all received grants:
- St Gertrude’s FC
- Oxted & District FC
- Forestdale Youth FC
- Guildford City Boys & Girls FC
- Leatherhead Youth FC
- Battersea Ironsides Sports Club
- Farncombe Football Club
- Manorcroft United JFC
- Tooting & Mitcham United FC
- Hambledon FC
- Royal Earlswood FC
In addition to the clubs who have received this funding, Colliers Wood United FC have been awarded a £20,000 grant from the Football Foundation for the Football Stadia Improvement Fund. This sum will support the club in developing their facility to install a new turnstile, an additional access gate, new dugouts as well as grass pitch improvements.
Commenting on their successful application, Colliers Wood FC’s Chairman & General Secretary Steve Turner said, ‘This grant from the Football Stadia Improvement Fund will allow us to upgrade some of our facilities and carry out essential pitch drainage maintenance.
The application process is quite lengthy and rigorous but there's plenty of assistance along the way. The grant means that hopefully, we can begin to move forward when we finally get the all clear for the new season to start. We are also grateful for the generous donation from a committee member and the hard work of the rest of the committee.’
